Which is the bigger genocide? Darfur or Iraq

Which is the bigger genocide? Darfur or Iraq?
A million dead from sanctions in the 1990s, nearly a million dead from war since 2003. Nice work, Amerika. Nothing to do with sanctions??? So it's a coincidence that a million died of malnutrition and preventable disease while Iraq couldn't sell any oil or import any medicine? cantkeep - 2 million dead Iraqis didn't die by accident.

Your numbers are way off. Did you get those from moveon.org?

So many so called liberals forget how many died under Clinton era sanctions.

According to the liberals Global Warming is more important then anything. Anyway ask Bill Clinton why he stood around with his pants down while a million people were hacked to death by their own in Rwanda.

I think Darfur has been more deadly so far. I think it is appalling the UN will do nothing to help the people of the Sudan. The people who died int 1990s were killed by Saddam. It had nothing to do with sanctions. Edit: They died of malnutrition because Saddam controlled the wealth in the country. If you did not agree with him, you could not get a job and therefore any money or food.

We aren't the ones doing the killing now. Its the terrorist blowing them self up or just using a IED. Do you really think there wouldn't be any killing if we weren't there. Hello, they are killing each other now. As for Darfur what would you have us do???

You have every right to be mad at america. They have sqrewed up real bad. The truth is that the people aren't the bad guys it's the president and our governmental prceduces. We have one of the worst presidents ever to be the ruler of our country and he started this whole war, and i've been against it since the very beginnning! To answer your question i would have to say that both iraq and darfur are genocidal, but iraq is worse in that it was americas intention to start a war, we are a peace loving country and to start a war is absoultly hipocritical and absurd!!

Actually, radical Islam is the culprit in both. And it's interesting to note that people criticized the US for "killing" half a million Iraqis a month with the oil-for-food sanctions. It wasn't Saddam's fault for building palaces with the money. No, it was America's fault, again. But some people can only blame America, and call it childish names. Those kinds of posts give me hope that the rest of the country will see the idiocy and will NOT let the Democrats have the White House again.

Over a billion fed since 1980, nearly 700 million vaccinated against killer disease, hundreds of billions of dollars in disaster relief world wide. Nice work, America!

I see your point, but Iraq is not the definition of genocide. No particular group of people is being targeted besides alleged terrorists. I think our boys and girls need to come home, but this is a tasteless comparison.
