am using m/dsl, i recieve 2.4/mbit per sec..... am trying 2 use utorrent 1.7.7 to download movies but it runs so slow, i tried 2 test my speed at www.dslreport .com but it seems like it only work if people are in amerika and am in africa (sudan) .. and i cant set my port as well, please dont tell me 2 check www.portforward.com cuz i have tried and it also didn't work.. i guess all i wanna know that if am recieving 2.4mbit per sec then how do i addjust the sittings on utorrent??? i mean what type of connection do i have 2 choose?? and how much port do i need 2 forward????? guys i want digits, 4 example i want the answer 2 be as clear as this:- connction type : xx/50mbit current port : 51326 is this too much 2 ask???? :-( thank u guys 4 reading my question P.S: it doesn't matter if u answer me or not, i till love u no matter what :-*

I think you are on the right track with the connection type. The number to the right of the / should be your upload speed. and the download speed is dependent upon that setting. Try knockin that speed up a few notches and see what you get. It is also possible that your ISP is blocking torrent traffic (or hindering it severely), that is also assuming it was working ok before hand. Default settings should be fine for ports for a simple download. Good luck either way!
