Isn't there the commuter connection or something like that? Or just leave really early in the morning...to miss part of traffic

Your best bet is to take the Greenway to the Dulles North Transit Center (Exit 8) and ride the commuter bus from there. Click the first link below for exact scheduling info. Fares are $7 each way or $60 for a ten-trip book of tickets. From Dulles North to the Rosslyn Metro is about 40 minutes each way, and Downtown D.C. from there is a quick trip across the Potomac using the Orange or Blue line. Use the second link if you need to plan your Metro trip in more detail, and the third link will take you to Commuter Connections, where you can find out more information about their ridematching service if you're interested in carpooling or vanpooling instead. They also offer a free guaranteed ride home service that can be used in the event of a personal emergency or overtime (up to 4 times per year) as long as you carpool or take transit.

either way you have to leave really early (or after rush hour) to not hit the traffic..see if you can work 10-6 or something. It tacks about 1/2 to 45 minutes onto your trip.. best bet would be the toll road to 66.
