In other words, America's politicians are being wined dined and their palms greased each day by foreign interests, both Democrat and Republican. Does this bother you?

In 2008 the lobbyists and corporations donated $3.2 billion* to the House and Senate members. Last year the amount is suppose to be $3.7 billion*. that's millions t each ne of them. they can use the cash to get reelected, hire family members t "manage" the money for $100,000, hire them to campaign and a host other tings legally. The party in the majority always gets a 55-45 split of the money so right now the Democrats are getting the extra 10$. ONe sad thing is that the chairmen of committees normally get the most donations from whatever industry they are suppose to be keeping in line. Like Sen. Baucus over the health care deal and got millions from the insurance folks and drug guys. Got to laugh as the law firms gave over $300 million. You can go to the below site and put in a name and find out how much they had donated, from whom and how they voted. Sadly this ha been going on for a long time and it's legal. now who should they represent us paying them about a hundred and half grand a year or the lobbyists paying them millions? It should bother everyone, but the House and Senate members set it up this way, i guess while we were not looking. Hey President Obama campaigned on stopping it, guess he has been busy. It should be a federal offense for any government official to accept campaign contributions or perks, either directly or indirectly from ANY foreign government or their lobbyists, friend or foe. In my mind it is treason. Does it bother me? This is the most important issue facing America today. I actually don't think there would be a war on terror right now if an anti-foreign lobbyist law had been enacted 50 years ago. Thomas Jefferson warned us 200 years ago about the danger of foreign entanglements. Look at link below for list of America's most powerful lobbies... Our representatives need to be for AMERICA FIRST.
