how i would find a job in america? as i'm an indian and civil engineer in profession.
how i would find a job in america? as i'm an indian and civil engineer in profession.?
i'm working in power sector (electrical power transmission construction line) now i'm in libya so how would i get a chnace in amerika. my experience is only of two years.

with only two years experience, i'd say it won't be easy looking for some one to hire you, especially if you aren't a citizen or they have to sponsor you. the power industry is good though. you'll find a lot of opportunity in the south.

Well the first thing you need to do is get yourself a resume together. Make sure you run spell check on it since employers will not think kindly if they see the amount of spelling errors we see Next, I would post your resume on job sites such as monster.com I would also send out letters to major companies introducing yourself. There is incentives available to employers that use foreign labor. However, forgive some of us Americans who feel that the unemployment rate is caused by foreign workers. In truth, the problem is with our government who allows businesses to get away with paying people from foreign lands so little instead of paying workers (no matter if they are American or not) a non-livable wage. Good luck to you.

Last I heard from some engineers here in the USA is there is a shortage because American universities are not graduating as many engineers as in the past, so several companies are hiring. So, I would think your chances would be good. Someone in your own field might be able to point you in the right direction with names of American companies. You can find more information online and also interview online. Good luck.
