One of the most popular morning radio shows in Virginia will have a new sound beginning Wednesday morning. Tommy Griffiths officially announced Monday that he is resigning from "The Tommy and Rumble Show" on WNOR's FM 99. In a phone interview with WAVY-TV Monday night, Tommy Griffiths said, "I think it was just a combination of things that work and things that I've dealt with on a daily basis. And I just felt like...there's more out there. I'm still young enough to establish myself as a heritage morning show host in another market and I've started the standup comedy stuff and that's been going well." Griffiths signed on with the late Henry "the Bull" Del Toro in 1990 and stayed on when his current partner, Rick Rumble, replaced Del Toro in 1995. Griffith and Del Toro made headlines when during an April Fools stunt they announced Mount Trashmore in Virginia Beach was going to blow up. Both were fined and suspended. Rumble and the rest of the morning team will continue, with an on-air announcement expected on the show Wednesday. In a message to Facebook Friends, Griffiths wrote: "FYI: as of 8/3/09 I have left FM99 WNOR - no more Tommy and Rumble. It breaks my heart, but it's time to move on. Thanks for all the love and support over the years. All my best to WNOR and to RICK RUMBLE! Tommy Griffiths."

I don't think this man said this the right way. I think we have 'Deep and Corrosive Doubts' "that Washington Works". Not the way it's been going since he got in there, anyway.

Obama cannot admit that he has screwed everything up, and will not admit that the entire Congress and its methodology is all FUBAR.

I work in Oregon and I pay state taxes every year. But my husband works in Washington state and he doesnt pay

I work in Oregon and I pay state taxes every year. But my husband works in Washington state and he doesnt pay state tax. SO, every year We have to owe state income tax. As, we are currently going thru a divorce. My question is if I file separately, then I will probably not owe any state taxes. I currently owe Federal for 2008 so, anything I get will go towards what I owe. If, he files by himself then he will owe big time for the state this year. But anything he gets for federal goes towards Federal back taxes. So, for me it would be good for me to file by myself. Any suggestion?

haven't you been paying attention? You have to pay all your taxes up to date to be in the cabinet - even if you previously had fallen behind.

Not now that he's chasing tax dodgers in Lichtenstein and other tax havens, there'll be a few people coming out falling over each other to 'account for tax discrepancies'. *'Oh, no it was just an oversight by my accountant.' Heinrich Kieber did a very good thing trying to uncover the truth of offshore investments and banking practices, imho.

This is just a sly way to refill the government coffers. Do we really need IRS collection agents? No! Obama is working from a list of DC types that owe back taxes. He pretends to name them to important positions so that they will be forced to acknowledge and pay their back taxes. Then we have more money to pump back into the economy! It's brilliant really.
