Who does our elected Representatives in Washington work for

Who does our elected Representatives in Washington work for?
Who does or Congressmen and Senators work for Obama or we the people that voted for them? Why then do they mostly democrats seem to do what seems to be against what the people want? Don't they understand who elected them?

Many work for their own personal interests but the "C Street" Cabal of Republicans apparently think they work for God.
2 :
The ones that put them in office.....Big Business.
3 :
They have to hear from you to know what you are thinking. Do your part and write them. Scream if you have to. As for the Republicans, well they are out voted, they can't stop anything without the Dem supporters changing some minds up there.

How do season tickets work? Washington Capitals specifically

How do season tickets work? Washington Capitals specifically?
I've never had season tickets before, but they look interesting. I need to know the ins and outs of the whole business. Example, do I have to pay for all games? etc. etc. etc.

yes you have to pay for every home game, you can probably get partial season ticket plans though. I would assume there is some kind of waiting list for season tickets to the Caps though.
2 :
Yes i think you need to pay for all regular season games and you get tickets to then. I believe there is usually a LONG waiting list though, despite the amount of money that people are paying for season tickets. It's ridiculously expensive but I guess a lot of people think it's worth it.

Osama bin Laden is now dead, can we finally bring our kids home

Osama bin Laden is now dead, can we finally bring our kids home?
My son works for Army intelligence in Kuwait and he says they intercepted a secret message from Al-Qaeda to all the terrorists to stop fighting because the Jihad is now over. It said that when Osama bin Laden saw that Hillary Clinton or Obama could be our next President, he died laughing. As he was rolling on the floor , he ordered his men to send out the message to Al-Qaeda to stop fighting and start making contributions to the Democrats. "Nothing could be worse for Amerika than that. Allah will be very pleased" he said. In his last official act , Osama gave his top luitennants the keys to the beach house in Yemen and declared the Jihad to be officially over. As he was being buried in Pakistan , reports said that there was a "Go Hillary" bumper sticker on the casket.

How many times are you going to post this? Its a bit tired, although I do like the idea of the bumper sticker on the coffin.
2 :
Yeah right, there is no way in God's green Earth would you get information from your son who works Intel, about this via internet or telephone.
3 :
oh that is funny... see we do need a Democrat in office
4 :
It's all a clever ruse - I'm sure Osama knows that by endorsing Hillary Clinton, the Democratic party will lose credibility and the Republican Party will win for sure.
5 :
lol, thanks for the laugh.
6 :
that was funny. thanks for the laugh. the bumper sticker was a nice touch.
7 :
Funny stuff. Of course Al-Qaeda would support a party that would undermine our military and the War on Terror. Democrats are more concerned with ending the war while McCain is the only one trying to win it. Good laugh.
8 :
Amusing... though a Democrat President would be an even GREATER offense to Islam !! More likely there was an error in traslation... Al Qaeda will actually take a 2 year sabbatical: to allow the Dems to further screw the USA, to allow more agents to infiltrate from Mexico, and to permit Anti-USA feelings to simmer.
9 :
There is no proof that Bin Laden is dead.

Looking for someone...

Looking for someone...?
His name was Carl Frederick Hyg. He was born December 19, 1855 and died in 1947. I know his children's surnames are High. He married Anna Matilda Anderson. Their children are Alma Sophia Theodora High, Mabel Eleanora Maria High, Carl Arthur Julius High, Axel Albin Cornelius High, Esther Matilda Leontina High, Oscar Abel Theodore High, Leon Edwin Emanuel High, John Oliver Victor High, Robert Frederick Walfred High, Anna Martha Viola High, Elva Alice Evangeline High, Edna Florence Olive High, Wilma Eunice Dorothea High, Earl Lawrence Knute High, and Lenore Elaine Elizabeth High (yes, there were 15 kids). I am looking for his parents (and farther back). All I know besides what I put above is that: "Moving out" records found in Swedish archives indicate that Karl Fredrick Hyg left Sweden for Amerika on September 2, 1877. He went to Lacon, Illinois, where his older sister Mathilda and brother John had been working for a year. I am assuming everything is correct, though it might not be.
