Share your ideas and dreams on this topic. It could work! Washington DC could become part of Virginia, and the Israeli part of Jerusalem could become a District for the Capital of the USA. Bob S--that's just a tad overboard with the paranoia, isn't it? Wow. It just so happens that this idea was put forth by a very respected Naval Scholar, in his book, 'The Pentagon's New Map.' It is a serious topic, not one made for inciting any bias one way or the other.

The District of Columbia (Washington DC) was originally composed of land ceded by Virgina and Maryland. Only Maryland's land remains in DC, so if we established a new capital anywhere, then the land would return to Maryland instead of being gifted to Virginia as you ignorantly suggest. The costs and implications of moving a capital are such that it usually only happens if a nation has a fundamental change in government, is conquered or faces a catastrophe which destroys its capital. Japan moved its capital to Kyoto in WWII, but returned to Tokyo after the war. China moved its capitan from Nan Jing to Bei Jing when the Forbidden City was built. The whole city of Beijing was originally designed to celebrate the superiority of the contemporary dynasty and the land and people it ruled. England never moved its capital. France didn't even after it was captured. Russia considered moving its capital to Tubalsk during WWII but didn't/ Countries don't just change their capitals willy-nilly. No. Israel will never be the 51st State in the USA. Americans have had enough of the hate and terrorism that has attached to our country because of Israel and its desire to dominate the world. Americans should strive to be free people, not people who blindly follow a lost faith while destroying others who don't agree. Religion is destroying America and the world. Since state of israel found it cost u.s taxpayer over 1.8 TRILLION DOLLARS aid til now. Every yrs. u.s forced to send 8 BILLION dollars aid to state of israel cover every things from free medical, school, housing, military assistant so they can carry out more killing of Arabs and they don't pay one penny in tax. The closest cites that are reasonable I would say are either Richmond, Virginia, or Frederick, Maryland. I know there's also a lot of people that live in Baltimore and work in Washington, DC. Baltimore is going through major urban renewal.

At night? Yep. Should be a fix-it offense, though. Get it fixed, show it to the police, and it should negate the ticket. But make sure they actually tick off the cancellation on the ticket for your proof in case you get called into court.
