Why is Scott Brown lollygagging in MA instead of getting to work in Washington like he promised the voters

Why is Scott Brown lollygagging in MA instead of getting to work in Washington like he promised the voters?
Not one day out from the election and he's already wasting taxpayer money...

...he's not even sworn in yet...
3 :
Trust me, the less he actually does, the better off we all are.
4 :
I hope you are joking. The Democrats are doing their best to delay his seating.
5 :
The only reason he was elected in the first place is to ward of the "evils" of Health care reform, which might I add is MUCH needed.
6 :
You lost get used to it; it will happen alot later this year in November.
7 :
They have to swear him in and they are going to take as long as legally possible to do that.
8 :
god you sound like a stupid republican.
9 :
If you wanted a senator that works, you should have elected Martha Coakley....instead of another voice in the chorus of Republican obstructionism.
10 :
He is not scheduled to go to yet

I wish he could! Unfortunately, the election needs to be certified by the state of MA before he can go. (In otherwords, they need to make sure all the votes from the military, etc. come in and are counted before it's official.) But nice try. Too bad your wet noodle candidate lost her butt.

His son had a basketball game and family is very important to (R)

maybe that old pick up truck broke down on I-95?
14 :
Technically, since he hasn't been sworn in, he's not getting paid yet.
15 :
What did you expect? probably take a two months vacation like Bush did.

Let me see if I can manage to explain this on a level you are able to understand. 1. He won just over 24 hours ago. 2. The election has not yet been certified. 3. He can't be sworn in until the certification reaches the Senate Majority Leader. 4. He plans on driving his truck to Washington. 5. It's snowing most of the way and he can't drive real fast. 6. He hasn't yet found a place to live. I'm sure there are several more reasons he hasn't started yet, but I did want to keep the list short and simple, so simple minded people can understand it. Do you fit that description?

Sounds familiar... oh yeah OBAMA.

If you live in Oregon, but work in Washington, do you pay Oregon income tax

If you live in Oregon, but work in Washington, do you pay Oregon income tax?
Suppose you live in Portland, OR. Across the river is Vancouver, WA. Oregon has an income tax. Washington does not. If you're working in Washington, does Oregon make you pay income tax?

Does MetroPCS phones work in Washington DC?
I'm taking a trip there this summer for 10 days, and I was just wondering if they worked there? Also, if you could tell me whether or not they worked in Denver, Colorado would be great, too, but I mainly wanna know about Washington. (: Thanks!

Anyone got tips on finding work in Washington, DC

Anyone got tips on finding work in Washington, DC?
I'm going back to grad school at George Mason and will need a job. I've worked in the DC area before, but they were only temporary jobs and I tried to do everything on my own. This is the first time I'm actually seeking advice for finding work that's not temporary or related to office administration. I am also studying International Commerce and Policy, if that helps. Thanks!

I would imagine that most of the places that would utilize your specialities are either Government Agencies or these sites might be a good start. Many of these sites will send you email notifications for jobs that meet your criteria or you can subscribe to RSS feeds which you can read in an RSS Reader.
