If Obama goes back to Washington to work with his colleagues in the Senate on the bailout bill, won't he...?
just vote "Present" anyway? Might as well continue campaigning and save on airfare.

He'll vote just like everyone else. Voting present means the bill is not ready for a final vote. But I'm sure you knew that. *sigh*
2 :
LOL Yes, probably but he won't show even: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AnYOEQPLBEgWJuyv238SOrTsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20080924160815AAysoGt

Actually McCain has the worst senate attendance record of all senators. http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/110/senate/vote-missers/
4 :
Obama now voting "maybe" instead of "present"....It's a big leap!
5 :
Well, that's a good point. He isn't used to doing anything anyway; he only adds his name to other people's hard work.

He called sick two yours ago.

Louisiana Hot Boy: Voting Present does not at all mean a bill is not ready for a vote. It means "I cannot make up my mind." Many votes where Obama voted "Present" have passed. Obviously they are ready to be voted on if they passed.

There are many different reasons to vote "present", and it's sometimes a display of fortitude or commitment to vote "present". On the other hand, there's nothing honorable about McCain's voting record, he has skipped more votes during this session than any member of the Senate except for Tim Johnson, who had major brain surgery

I think he should go back and give a straight up "aye" or "nay" vote. But you know that isn't what's going to happen. He won't show up for the vote at all, and then he'll spend the next 4 years telling voters that "I did not vote to pass the Bush bailout bill." And the voters will buy it, because most of them are unable to do their own research and find out that he didn't vote against it - he didn't vote at all. And of course, if the bailout bill has a positive effect on the economy, he will claim that he published his bailout plan before Bush's plan was publicized, and that obviously Bush took major sections of Obama's plan, and that Obama didn't need to go back to Washington to vote "aye" on a plan that was actually his to begin with and that he knew the Senate would pass. Did anybody listen to his press conference today? Did you count how many times he said "I"? "I", "me," "my." It was all about HIM and what HE thinks. And did you hear his answer to that first question? He spent what, 10 minutes on Democrat talking points before he ever got down to answering the actual question that was asked? Go to Washington, Obama. Vote. For a change, cast your vote FOR or AGAINST. No more voting "present" as a cop-out. You think a president should be a multi-tasker? Well, most of the people of this country want a president who has the guts to take a stand. No more media sound bites. You're a senator. GO VOTE.

You get the form from your school, fill it work, have your parents sign it, then give it to the person at the market who hires you.
2 :
You get a Minor Work Permit from your school counselor, take it to the hiring manager to fill in the hours, days and what you'll be doing, the name, address, and other employer info, and their minor work permit expiration date. Make sure the hiring manager signs it then have your parent sign it take it back to your counselor to sign. That's the whole process!!You should get this form from the employer,it is part of the minor hiring package.
